More Salesforce Interview Questions to Practice

Flows and automation
- What is the difference between a before-save and an after-save record-triggered Flow?
- How do you handle errors in a Flow with a fault path?
- When would you create a subflow instead of one large Flow?
- How can a Flow call Apex, and what must the Apex method look like?
SOQL, Apex and testing
- How do you work with a self-lookup hierarchy in Apex without running a query inside a loop?
- What is HttpCalloutMock, and how do you use it in a test class?
- How would you test a class that calls two different external systems?
- When do you choose Queueable Apex over Batch Apex for callouts?
- How do you write a SOQL query that groups by a field and filters on an aggregate result?
Security and experience

- How do the role hierarchy and sharing rules give users more access than the organization-wide default?
- Tell me about the most complex integration you have built and how you handled errors.
- How do you debug an issue that only happens in production?
Concepts to Revise
- Record-triggered Flow paths: before-save, after-save and scheduled paths, and how to control the order of Flows on one object
- Difference between a Scheduled Flow and a scheduled path
- Hierarchy and self-lookup relationships, and how to query parents with Apex
- Test classes for callouts with mock responses
- Organization-wide defaults, profiles, permission sets and what each one controls
- Calling several external systems from one user action
How to Prepare
This interview leans towards Flows, SOQL and Apex, plus security basics. Build one record-triggered Flow with a scheduled path, write one hierarchy query in Apex, and practise writing a callout test class from memory. Say your answers out loud, and prepare a real example from your own project for the experience questions.
